CI-Pitt was founded in May of 2007 and is the largest Hanban Chinese volunteer program in North America. Through generous support from the Chinese Ministry of Education and matching funding from the University of Pittsburgh, CI-Pitt promotes the learning of China and Chinese language through classes, films, lectures, festivals and other exciting program.
Our next big project is welcoming our new 25 volunteer teachers from Wuhan University who will come to Pittsburgh on July 14th! We are very excited about our new group and know that we will have a big year with them. Here is a photo of this years' group:
